Join us for a foraging adventure! From April to July, we explore the forests of Macedon and Emerald with mushroom identification walks. We also venture closer to Melbourne for edible weed walks and mushroom cultivation classes.
Walk among the Weeds
Free community walk, Darebin Creek
Spring is here, and so it the abundance of forageable greens! Join Kath for a free 30 minute edible weed walk along Darebin Creek in Reservoir. We’ll take a short wander and learn how to identify some beginner-friendly weeds, like Chickweed, Onion weed, Shepherd's Purse, Curly Dock, and more. We'll briefly discuss how to cook them, traditional uses and medicinal benefits.
